As Queen
Henry VIII admired Anne Boleyn because of her musical talent. He wrote love letters to her because he had fallen in love with her. He divorced Catherine of Aragon so he could marry Anne and also because she would not him a son which is what he wanted. Historians think that they were secretly married on January 25th, 1533 but the place where they were married is unknown. Soon after they were married, they started planning Anne’s coronation. On June 1st , 1533, she went to Westminster Abbey and was crowned as the Queen of England. The public were not rejoicing because they did not like her. The public had favored Catherine of Aragon. They thought she had stolen Catherine’s rightful place and convinced the king to divorce Catherine. So she started trying really hard to do the traditional role as queen like making clothing and useful things for the poor. She did some really nice things but the public still did not like her.

Execution
Anne Boleyn had only one living child and it was a girl. Henry did not want a daughter which made him upset. Things started getting worse because there was a rumor going that Anne was planning to murder the king. Henry VIII found out about the rumor and believed that the rumor was true. He had her moved to the Tower of London. There she was put on trial so they find out that that the hearsay was true. After a long time of arguing, Anne was found guilty and the rumor turned out to be true. After the trial, she stayed in the Tower of London while they decided her fate. They decided she was to be executed. On May 1st, 1536, Anne’s life drew closer to an end. When it was time for her execution, in one chop, Anne Boleyn was dead.

Legacy
Anne Boleyn was probably the best known wife of King Henry VIII, even though she was only
Queen of England for three years. Though she was never liked by the people of England. She did give them something, one of England’s greatest monarchs, Queen Elizabeth I.
